International Immersion Program
 TEFL International offers full time courses preparing students for their future in Language Learning. Amongst our selection of programs is the International Immersion program which we agree is one of the most, if not the most effective way to study a foreign language. Being completely surrounded by the language every day pushes your language acquisition to the highest level. Immersion programs should be for extended periods, at least two weeks and up to four months. This allows you to gain the most benefit (results) from the program and allows you to truly internalize the language.
Our immersion programs offer a truly intensive language learning experience where every waking hour is filled with English-speaking activities.
During the course, you will be assessed on your use of English (your vocabulary resource and your understanding of grammar) and you ability at the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking). There is a test for each of these five areas. The whole exam is distributed over three days, the reading, use of English and writing test are held on one day and the speaking test on another day and the listening test on another.
During the course, you will not only practice the skills mentioned above. You will be given a full orientation to the exam layout and practice in completing exam components.
Included in the course fees is a course book and several day trip excursions as well as a wide selection of extra curricular activities.
Orientation
 Your first experience with our staff
will be through email or phone where we will answer all of your
question and make sure we are waiting for you as you arrive at the
airport in Bangkok.
Your arrival is a very important time
here at TEFL International. You will be introduced to staff

and given a tour around our

Location
 Ban Phe is situated on the South East
coast of Thailand in the beautiful province of Rayong. You won’t
find Ban Phe on a map but it is well worth a visit for its mix of
quiet, calm beaches and its bustling and vibrant port epicenter.
You will be impressed by the long stretch of beaches along the bay
with the view of the blue green sea and Ko Samet just minutes
away. Ban Phe is nestled in between the towns of Rayong and Klaeng,
which provide modern day facilities at a much slower pace for your
enjoyment and convenience. Rayong’s unspoilt scenery, white sandy
beaches, sparkling waters, blue skies, wide open spaces and lush
green mountains and orchards make it one of the best places to
study, visit or live.
Thailand offers something
for everyone; from the stupa-studded mountains of Mae Hong Sonand
and the relaxing islands, to the bright lights of clubs in
Bangkok and the traditional villages moored on the Mekong River.
A country influenced by
Western culture however it has a strong background of traditional
Thai beliefs and culture which remain the dominant force in the
Kingdom today. The Thai people are some of the friendliest you
will ever meet; they are proud of their country and strong in
their beliefs, which makes them truly humble and respectful
people.
Thailand is a gateway to
all international cities with many flights leaving and arriving
daily from around the world. Students interested in studying in
Thailand can find in Ban Phe a superb educational facility set in

Climate
 Ban Phe is blessed with beautiful if
not, weather most of the year.
From November to the end of March the
climate is hot but comfortable with a cooling North East breeze
and a reduction in the humidity level. This is also the main
tourist season.
April and may are the Thai summer
months with high temperatures but lower humidity June through
September things cool town considerably and afternoon
thunderstorms make for a great change of pace.

For
most overseas students, studying abroad is a new experience and
whilst it is most exciting there is a great deal to learn about
life in a new country. It is comforting to know that our student
support provides a wonderful service for students as they settle
into their new environment.
We
ensure all students receive top level attention for all their
academic, accommodation needs. We provide a valuable resource
service for information of a wide range of issues to enable you to
make informed decisions. Furthermore our staff are available to
discuss, in strictest confidence, any difficulties and personal
problems that may arise from time to time.

Mr. Veldhuisen is the founder of TEFL International and has been Course Director of language schools and TESOL courses in Hong Kong and Thailand for the past eight years. He holds a Masters in Business Administration, a Bachelors of Science in International Relations and Economics, and a Trinity College London TESOL certificate.
David Hopkins

David Hopkins holds a Masters degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and in Intercultural Management from the School for International Training. He has taught, developed, managed, and done teacher training in language programs in Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia for over three decades. His most recent position before becoming TEFL International's Director of Academics was as the Course Director at the AUA Language Center in Bangkok.
